Steamboats refer to a variety of dishes eaten throughout Malaysia and Singapore, where ingredients are cooked in a simmering pot of broth and/or grilled at the table, usually communally, similar to a fondue. It is also known as 'Hot Pot' in other northern Asian countries where they are often eaten in winter.

Typical steamboat ingredients include an assortent of thinly sliced meat, seafood and vegetables. The cooked food is either eaten with a dipping sauce, or sometimes as a soup and/or an accompliment to main course dishes.

Include this option as an interactive and enjoyable addition to any table.
